NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sandra Lynn, whose “powerhouse vocals range from delicate to dynamo” (Laura Whitmore/Parade), is continuing the second chapter of a musical narrative through new songs as she releases “Lose the War” and “Am I Just Dreaming” on all digital platforms today.
CMT world premiered the emotionally-charged video for “Lose the War,” that Lynn surprised fans with last week, filmed in Los Angeles, Calif. under the direction of husband/wife duo, Brandon Hess and Tara Tucker (Tucker/Hess Productions).

“Lose the War” and “Am I Just Dreaming” continue the story Lynn kicked off with her Fight EP. “I wanted to start a project that essentially reflected ‘three chapters’ of music, that through the music, followed the storyline of one couple in the push and pull, in’s and out’s of their relationship. I wanted every song I chose for this project to allow the listener to dive into a couple’s emotional journey, telling a story in a linear way—very much like old records used to do,” Lynn shared.
“Lose the War” was written by Emily Shackelton, Phil Barton, and Cameron Jaymes while Lynn co-penned “Am I Just Dreaming” with Joey Ebach and Ryland Fisher. Both tracks were produced by Grammy® Award-winning engineer and producer, Ben Fowler.
