NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Following a sensational second season including Dennis Quaid, Chingy, Kellie Pickler, Vince Gill and many more, Phil Vassar’s Songs from the Cellar returns for a third season tonight at 9 p.m. ET on Circle with special guests Lonestar. Ahead of the premiere, fans can catch up on the first two seasons of the series with Vassar’s new podcast, Phil Vassar’s Songs from the Cellar on American Songwriter Podcast Network with weekly episodes that feature the captivating audio from conversations and performances of previous episodes.
“I’m so excited to kick off the third season with my good buddies, Lonestar. We recently did two back-to-back Christmas tours together, and it was so much fun to catch up and play with them again!” Vassar tells Sounds Like Nashville who premiered a first look at the season 3 premiere.
Season 3 was filmed in Vassar’s home wine cellar and features an all-star lineup including Tracy Lawrence, Matt Ramsey of Old Dominion, Jo Dee Messina, and Lonestar. The season introduces two new segments including ‘Rising Women of Country’ with guests Stephanie Quayle, Parker McKay, Arielle and Kasey Tyndall and ‘Phil’s Pick’ featuring fellow Virginia native, Lexie Hayden. Songs from the Cellar enjoyed a successful inaugural season on Circle last year with guests CAM, Peter Frampton, Hunter Hayes, Tommy Shaw from Styx and many more. A star-studded second season followed, with a guest line up including Abby Anderson, Brothers Osborne, Kix Brooks, Kyle Daniel, Larry Gatlin, Vince Gill, Kellie Pickler, Dennis Quaid, Steve Wariner, Craig Wiseman and Chingy with Meg & Tyler. ABOUT PHIL VASSAR
Phil Vassar’s reign of signature songs include 10 No. 1 singles and 26 Top 40 hits, including Carlene, Just Another Day in Paradise, Six-Pack Summer, When I Love You, and many more.
