NASHVILLE, Tenn. – “Power of Garth,” the third single off Lucas Hoge’s Billboard No. 1 album Dirty South, continues to climb country radio charts as Parade.com premieres the video in which Hoge “steps back into his boyhood shoes to deliver a touching tribute to an icon” (Parade/Laura Whitmore).
The single pays tribute to iconic entertainer Garth Brooks and was co-written by Terry McBride, who has written multiple No. 1 hits for Garth Brooks. “I’m humbled and honored to be able to cut songs like this from some of the greatest songwriters of our generation, and I will be forever grateful to Matt Rogers and Terry McBride for giving me their blessing to record this song,” Hoge said.
