NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Rising songstress Olivia Ooms is wrapping up her whirlwind year with a performance at the 5th Annual California Country Christmas on Thursday, Dec. 20 at House of Blues Anaheim. The 90’s country-themed event benefits the Spark of Love Foundation. The Huntington Beach, Calif. native will also perform her breakout hit “Thoughts of You” live on KTLA Friday, Dec. 28 at 10:10 a.m. PST.
Following her release of Thoughts of You in early 2018, Ooms spent the rest of the year performing songs from the EP throughout the country. She participated in a series of performances, signings and interviews during her first CMA Fest and immediately followed that experience with a performance of the National Anthem at the Thunder of Niagara Air Show. As the opener for Tanya Tucker, the 16-year-old was invited by the country music icon to join her onstage for an encore performance of “Delta Dawn.”
Ooms was the first female country artist featured on Radio Disney’s new station, RDYou, created to spotlight emerging artists. CMT executives also selected Ooms for their Artist Discovery program, which included the world premiere of her “Thoughts of You” music video on CMT Music and CMT.com and inclusion in CMT Music’s 12 Pack Countdown.
Stay tuned for new music in 2019 and be sure to follow Ooms on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and visit her website www.oliviaooms.com.
