Billboard exclusively premiered the “feel-good” video which finds Sanders, the seven featured singer-songwriters and his musical heroes immersed in a rural political debate setting. “My favorite memory from the shoot is an accumulation of a lot of conversations throughout the day. Each artist featured, including Tracy, Aaron, Marty, and Mike, mentioned to me at some point that shooting this video was one of, if not the coolest thing, they had been a part of in their careers. And for me, that was the ultimate compliment. ‘Ruled The World’ was born from the idea of having fun and doing something for the love of it, and that we accomplished,” shared Sanders.
Sounds Like Nashville and One Country exclusively premiered behind-the-scenes content from the shoot leading up to the video’s release. The No. 1 singer-songwriter appeared on 650 AM WSM’s “Coffee, Country & Cody” earlier this week to chat about the release and will perform the 10 Minute Tune on NASH-FM’s “The Ty Bentli Show” next Tuesday, Feb. 25. On Friday, March 13, Sanders will also perform “Ruled The World” on WSMV’s “Today in Nashville.”
The Lake City, Fla. native moved to Nashville in 2009 where he worked construction to pay the bills while developing his chops as a songwriter.
