Audio Up’s newest venture features veteran actors Gary Busey and Dennis Quaid, and a drunken party on the beach, with a new first-of-its-kind scripted music podcast titled, Uncle Drank: The Totally Hammered podcast. One of Audio Up’s newest properties, Uncle Drank: The Totally Hammered podcast is set to premiere later this year and will feature an original soundtrack released through Warner Records. The first release “Hickstart My Heart” featuring Trinidad James was released earlier this week.

While social-distancing guidelines prevent the Grand Ole Opry from going live Friday evenings on SiriusXM Willie's Roadhouse, Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry member, Whisperin' Bill Anderson, is hosting a two-hour special as an Opry "House Guest DJ." Anderson will share with listeners stories from his more than 60 years performing on the Opry stage. The country legend hand-picked some of his favorite songs recorded by his friends and fellow Opry members, as well as from his own extensive catalogue. Anderson's set as an Opry "House Guest DJ" at Willie's Roadhouse on SiriusXM will premiere Friday, June 12 at 9 p.m. EST on Channel 59 and re-air throughout the weekend.

Dennis Quaid and Lewis Brice Join 2020 Concert for Love & Acceptance Set for June 30

Actor, musician, songwriter, writer, and Audio Up podcast pioneer, Dennis Quaid, and rising country artist Lewis Brice, join the talent lineup for the 2020 Concert for Love and Acceptance, set to take place as an online event June 30 amid the ongoing COVID19 crisis. The Academy of Country Music’s charitable arm ACM Lifting Lives®, CMT, GLAAD and country music star and philanthropist Ty Herndon announced Quaid and Brice to the lineup today, along with the additions of Lauren Alaina, Terri Clark, Billy Gilman, Kalie Shorr and Rita Wilson. Mickey Guyton will make a special appearance, as will actor, producer, and director Matt Bomer, who will introduce Wilson. As previously announced, two-time 2020 Grammy® winner Tanya Tucker will open the show. The event will be live streamed on YouTube, Facebook and at F4LA.org/concert, with additional appearances and performances to be announced.
