NAOMI JUDD PARTNERS WITH LOOPED FOR ONE-ON-ONE MEET & GREET EVENT TO BENEFIT NATIONAL ALLIANCE ON MENTAL ILLNESS TENNESSEE (NAMI)
Country music icon, Naomi Judd, has partnered with Looped, a new platform that enables fans to video chat live with their favorite celebrities, for a one-on-one meet and greet event on July 6 at 2:00 p.m. CDT. Proceeds from the event benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness Tennessee (NAMI) which provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.
LUCAS HOGE LANDS AT NO. 8 ON POLLSTAR’S WEEKLY LIVESTREAM CHART
Billboard No. 1 charting artist Lucas Hoge continues to entertain and engage with fans during his weekly livestreams, which garner audience numbers that chart Hoge alongside global sensation BTS and H.E.R at the No. 8 spot, rounding out the Top 10 with Grace Potter and Click Black on Pollstar's Weekly Livestream Chart. This is the second consecutive week Hoge has landed in the Top 10 on Pollstar's chart, which track views on artist's livestreams.
Busch Beer and Billy Ray Cyrus Head for the Mountains
Busch, the beer brewed for the great outdoors, has extolled the beauty of America’s landscapes using music and song since its founding in 1955, developing iconic jingles for its ad campaigns such as ‘Head for the Mountains’ in the 1980s. In addition to an all-new episode of #WarinerWednesday on June 24, Wariner will also take over Gretsch Guitar's Instagram account on Friday, June 26 for #FalconFriday to commemorate the White Falcon Gretsch® Chet Atkins gifted to Wariner. Next week, Wariner will also perform during The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum's Instagram Live on Tuesday, June 30. This interactive program is a spinoff of the museum’s popular Saturday Songwriter Session, a live performance—in which audience questions are welcome—offered weekly in the museum’s Ford Theater. The Judds to Receive Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Five-time GRAMMY®, nine-time CMA and seven-time ACM Award-winning iconic duo, The Judds, will receive a star on the world's most famous walkway, The Hollywood Walk of Fame. "After 37 years, I still find myself amazed! What a journey it has been so far. Thankful to still be included," said Wynonna Judd. "Many years ago before moving to Nashville, we lived in Hollywood. It was a very hard time. I could barely pay the rent and keep food on the table for Ashley, Wynonna and myself. Walking down Hollywood Boulevard, and seeing those stars under my feet, it just never occurred to me that our names would one day be on a Star with all of those famous people. It’s surreal to even imagine it now. I’m thrilled that we have been given such amazing recognition," Naomi Judd shared.
Bellamy Brothers to Perform for Wreaths Across America Live Virtual Concert
National nonprofit Wreaths Across America (WAA) is proud to announce that it is producing a free, virtual “Giving in July” concert on Facebook to replace its annual “Stem to Stone Rally in the Valley” weekend event in Maine this year. This family-friendly, virtual concert event will air live, nationwide on the WAA Official Facebook Page on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at 7PM ET, featuring patriotic musical guests who are supportive and appreciative of our country’s veterans and their families, and the organization’s mission to REMEMBER, HONOR and TEACH. The event will include a special message from Operation Red Wing lone survivor, United States Navy SEAL (RET) Marcus Luttrell and his wife Melanie from their home in Texas, as well as appearances from local volunteers across the country who are giving back in their own communities through their participation in the WAA program.
