David Bellamy (The Bellamy Brothers) To Be Inducted Into Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame
David Bellamy (The Bellamy Brothers), Al Anderson, Liz Rose, Dan Penn and Victoria Shaw – the Hall’s Class of 2024 – will join the legendary body in November, according to an announcement made today by Rich Hallworth, chair of the organization’s board of directors, and Mark Ford, its executive director director at a luncheon held in Nashville’s historic Columbia Studio A, part of Belmont University’s Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business.

The Store Launches The School Store as Part of Doubling Our Difference Campaign
To address a growing need, The Store is introducing The School Store, a new project aimed at providing school supplies for Middle Tennessee families. The initiative will collect new high-quality backpacks, stainless steel water bottles and one-inch 3-ring binders throughout July at collection sites including Let It Shine Gymnastics, The Getalong, Belmont Bookstore, and The Store. Additionally, Kroger Green Hills and Brentwood stores along with other pop-up locations throughout 12 South will collect donations from July 27-28. The Nashville community is invited to The Store to drop off supplies, enjoy games, live music, inflatables and snacks during the fundraiser’s family-friendly event on Saturday, July 27, from 1-3 p.m. CT.

Second Annual Release the Hounds Music Festival to be Held September 7
The second annual Release The Hounds Music Festival will be held at The Hideaway Farm (formerly known as the Johnny Cash Farm) on Saturday, September 7 in Bon Aqua, Tenn. to raise much needed funds for animal welfare in rural Hickman County in conjunction with the Release The Hounds organization.
