Legendary country music icon Tanya Tucker will release Live From The Troubadour on October 16, 2020, the one-year anniversary of Tanya’s historic, standing-room only set from which it originates. In October 2019, Tanya was in the midst of resurgent visibility and acclaim generated by her Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings produced album While I’m Livin’, released two months earlier – so the brief stand in front of the West Hollywood tastemaker crowd took on a palpable air of significance. As someone who's been center stage for over 50 years, Tanya is donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this album directly to the Troubadour.
SEASON TWO OF BELLAMY BROTHERS’ HIT REALITY SERIES “HONKY TONK RANCH” PREMIERES ON CIRCLE
Season two of the Bellamy Brothers' hit reality series "Honky Tonk Ranch," which chronicles their “unusual lives, blending music stardom, vigorous road tours and cattle ranching (Tampa Bay Times)," premieres tonight on Circle at 7:30 p.m. CT. "To Break Hers" is an honest look back at a relationship that was a stepping stone to moving forward and accepting Hawthorn's sexuality. The song was written by Hawthorn and Lena Stone, later produced by Greg Bates. Hawthorn's vision to give the song the emotion it needed was to have the piano and vocals swimming in a bed of pedal steel guitar, creating a somber, "lost at sea" feel.
Elvis Presley’s Backup Vocalist Larry Strickland Releases ‘Legacy,’ Sings Gospel Staples and Covers
A revered bass vocalist, whose distinctive voice complimented Elvis Presley on stage and in the studio, Larry Strickland "continues to carry the torch for the music that he and Elvis, and so many others loved," (The Commercial Appeal) with his first solo project, Legacy, available everywhere today. A valued band member during the last four years of The King's career as part of J.D. Naomi Judd to Star in Lifetime V.C. Andrews Movie Series “Ruby”
Lifetime, the exclusive home of V.C. Andrews movies, adds big names to their next movie series event centered on the Landry Family with Naomi Judd (The Killing Game), Crystal Fox (Big Little Lies), Gil Bellows (Patriot) and Deborah Cox (Influence) in the first installment of the series, "Ruby." Naomi Judd joins the previously announced cast twins Raechelle Banno (Pandora) and Karina Banno (The Letdown) and Lauralee Bell (The Young and the Restless). The movie series follows Ruby Landry, who after being raised by her loving grandmother (Naomi Judd) in the Louisiana bayou, is ensnared in a world of dark family secrets and betrayal, upon discovering that she has another family living in New Orleans.
