NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Singer-songwriter Laine Lonero drops “No Makeup,”a clever breakup anthem, which ingeniously namechecks popular cosmetic brands (Circle All Access),” today via Epochal Artists Records / INgrooves. To stream or download “No Makeup,” click HERE.

Circle All Access exclusively premiered the first listen to “No Makeup,” written by Laine, Stephen Gregory Hunley II and Bobby McLamb, noting that the song, “expertly produced by Chris August” is “bound to leave you singing along.”

Today’s Country Magazine noted in a recent live show review that “No Makeup” saw Laine “moving her vocals to their lower register as she namechecked several popular cosmetic brands through each of the verses before punching the chorus to capture the confidence of the lyric, slapping an amazingly clever, play on words in the hook.”

“No Makeup” marks the third single release for Laine this year. Her previous releases have garnered attention from Cowgirl Magazine, CMT, Holler and more media outlets, while also landing on Spotify’s New Music Friday Country and Fresh Finds Country playlists. This year, Laine also made her Song Suffragettes debut at The Listening Room Cafe. She will wrap up 2023 with the release of her first Christmas song, “South Pole.”

Born and raised in Louisiana, Laine is “paving a path for herself as a trendsetter in the Gen Z pop-country market (Cowgirl Magazine),” currently living in Nashville and attending Belmont University’s prestigious songwriting program. She has also performed the national anthem for the San Diego Padres, Nashville Sounds, New Orleans Pelicans and Louisiana State University, and in 2021, was a featured National Anthem performer at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo.

“One of the newest bright stars on the pop-country scene (HollywoodLife),” Laine started earning accolades for her performances at an early age. She grew up performing in musical theater and opera, penning her first song at 13-years-old. Laine went on to win the Nashville Dreamin’ songwriting contest for her original “The Little Girl in Me,” inspired by her grandmother’s battle with cancer. In 2016, her talent caught the attention of Kidz Bop producers who featured her on four CDs, while Radio Disney Country supported her debut single “No Sweat.”
