NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Rising singer/songwriter Jarod Grubb releases his laid-back, beach-influenced single “Tiki Bar On The Beach” and the official music video, which premiered on The Tennessee Star, today. Produced by Ron Cornelius (Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen) and written by Grubb, this country beach vibe was inspired from Grubb’s long-time dream of living the beach life.

Medium exclusively premiered a first listen to the “invigorating, fresh track that cranks out summer vibes,” while The Tennessee Star debuted the “fun and flirty” music video. The video was shot at Tiki Cove in North Tampa and was directed by Andrew Kiaruscuro, who was recently awarded Best Director for the TV pilot Mind Heist.

“To me, it’s just a very simple message; to not be afraid to daydream and let yourself visualize the life you always wanted. ‘When my ship comes in’ as the song says, you can find me way down south at the Tiki Bar on the Beach where I will be hanging out a lot since it’s within walking distance to my (future) house on the beach with, of course, my sailboat moored close by. That’s always been my dream and that’s what the song is about,” shared Grubb.

Hailing from northwest Montana, Grubb grew up near Glacier National Park. His love of nature and beautiful places extends to oceans, beaches and palm trees where he has found inspiration for his music. After fronting a band in Boise, Idaho, Grubb moved to Nashville where he played venues including Tootsies, 4 Corners Marina on Percy Priest Lake and Margaritaville Hotel. These venues along with writers rounds and mentoring from Billy Currington’s lead guitar player, Gary Tackett, guided Grubb to his first producer and ultimately his freshman EP.
