AUSTIN, Texas – Acclaimed actor and proud Texan Dennis Quaid is excited to announce the release of True to Texas, a new commercial that celebrates the unmatched potential of Texas as a film production hub. The commercial, which features an all-star lineup including Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson, Billy Bob Thornton, and Renée Zellweger, showcases the Lone Star State’s diverse landscapes, booming economy, and rich cultural heritage.
 
Created by George Lane, directed by Nic Pizzolatto, the visionary creator of HBO’s True Detective, and executive produced by Tom Harrison, True to Texas was produced by Nate Strayer and Zack Stauffer of Stray Vista Studios. The production is a heartfelt call to action for filmmakers to embrace Texas as the ultimate destination for their projects.
