NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Huntington Beach-based songstress, Olivia Ooms, continues making waves as Billboard.com exclusively premieres the video for her latest single “California Country.” CMT.com also added the road-trip themed video to Next Up Now

The “star on the rise (Guitar Girl Mag/Victoria Shaffer)” co-wrote “California Country” with ACM Award-winner Jamie O’Neal and co-directed the video with David Javier. Ooms previously worked with Javier on her “Thoughts of You” video, which world-premiered on CMT and earned Ooms a spot in CMT’s Artist Discovery program.

Throughout the video, Ooms explores many locations along the west coast with her Highway 39 band members, explaining that the footage “quickly became a metaphor for ‘traveling along the road of life and the many people we meet who influence us along our journey!'”

Ooms recently performed at The Orange County Register’s Best of Orange County Awards Celebration held at City National Grove of Anaheim. The emerging entertainer will return to Nashville for two sets at The Wildhorse Saloon on Oct. 5 at 5:00 and 6:15 p.m. and a performance on WSMV-TV’s “Today in Nashville” on Oct. 7 at 11:00 a.m. CT.
