NASHVILLE, Tenn. – “An international symbol of country music (CMT),” the Bellamy Brothers join legendary British entertainer Sir Cliff Richard on “I Could Be Persuaded” off his new album, Music… The Air That I Breathe, available now via eastwest Records. The 12-track album celebrates Sir Cliff’s incredible career spanning a massive 60+ years in music. To download or stream Music… The Air That I Breathe and listen to the collaboration, click HERE

“I Could Be Persuaded” was originally released in 1990 as the first single off the Bellamy Brothers’ album Reality Check. Written by David and Howard Bellamy with Don Schlitz, the single landed in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. The Bellamys invited Sir Cliff to join them on a new version of “I Could Be Persuaded” in 2009 for their The Anthology, Volume 1 album.

Sir Cliff shared, “David and Howard were easy to work with. They knew exactly what they wanted of me and I did my best to please them. When I first heard the Bellamys’ “I Could Be Persuaded,” I loved the song and when they asked me to join them on the re-make, I was thrilled and honored.”

The Bellamy Brothers’ 1976 hit “Let Your Love Flow” launched their international fanbase as the single became an instant smash in the both the U.S. and Europe. “Let Your Love Flow” was recently featured in game five of the World Series, and the Bellamys continue to regularly perform all over the world. When the stay at home orders took effect in March, the Bellamy Brothers were on the road with Blake Shelton for his Friends and Heroes Tour and gearing up for a month-long European tour. The European dates have been rescheduled to June 2021.

The non-stop duo have remained busy musically through their most recent project, Bucket List, which debuted in July of 2020. “Rednecks (Lookin’ for Paychecks),” a timely take on the current situation, led the EP. Bucket List also includes “No Country Music For Old Men,” a collaboration with longtime friend John Anderson inspired by the loss of Kenny Rogers, and more light-hearted songs like “Lay Low, Stay High,” which ties into their new partnership with the Florida-based medical marijuana company, Trulieve, on their flower product line Old Hippie Stash.

Season two of the Bellamy Brothers’ hit reality series “Honky Tonk Ranch” recently premiered on Circle. The series, which airs Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. CT, chronicles the duo’s “unusual lives, blending music stardom, vigorous road tours and cattle ranching (Tampa Bay Times).” Eddy Raven appeared in the premiere episode of the star-studded season that also features Blake Shelton, John Schneider, Billy Dean and many more of the iconic duo’s legendary friends.

ABOUT BELLAMY BROTHERS:
David and Howard Bellamy continue to prove the trail they’ve ridden to fame has been as unique as their music itself—music that is now celebrating more than 40 years of success. The road that started on the pop music charts in the ‘70’s, took a winding turn into country music in the ‘80’s, paving the way for duos to come, such as Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, Big & Rich and The Judds. “If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me),” originally scrawled on a dinner napkin by David, rocketed them to the top of the country charts the way “Let Your Love Flow,” had done in the pop market just a few years earlier. It proved to be the first of a string of 14 No. 1 singles in the U.S. alone. They’re the only U.S. country music act who’ve toured in India, Sri Lanka, New Caledonia and Qatar. The Bellamy Brothers hold the record in both the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and the Country Music Association Awards (CMA) for the most duo nominations. Numerous Grammy nods have also been directed toward the brothers. The Bellamys are also opening up their lives to television audiences with their reality show, “Honky Tonk Ranch.” Each episode captivates viewers by the unpredictable misadventures the Bellamys face while balancing their globe-trotting touring schedule while running their sprawling family ranch in south Florida. “Honky Tonk Ranch” is executive produced by David Bellamy and directed, shot and edited by Derrek Kupish, CEO/founder of dkupish productions. “Honky Tonk Ranch” airs on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. CT on Circle.
