NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Adkins Publicity President/CEO Scott Adkins has promoted Makenzie Clayburg to Director of Publicity and Social Media effective immediately. In her new role, Clayburg will supervise and coordinate day-to-day strategy along with Adkins, Vice President of Publicity Kelli Wasilauski and Publicity Coordinator Haley Moriva for Adkins Publicity’s roster of music, film, television, podcast, cannabis and lifestyle clients. 

Currently, Adkins proudly represents Dennis Quaid, and the forthcoming feature film “Reagan,” starring Quaid, set for release in 2022; Billy Ray Cyrus, Tanya Tucker, The Judds and Naomi Judd, Chingy, Brenda Lee, Bill Anderson, Jamie O’Neal, Lewis Brice, Lucas Hoge, Dani Taylor, Steve Wariner, Gene Watson, Taylor Hicks, Phil Vassar and Phil Vassar’s Songs From The Cellar television series airing on Circle, Steven Curtis Chapman, Bellamy Brothers and their Old Hippie Stash medical cannabis product from Florida-based Trulieve Cannabis Corp, as well as The Bellamy Brothers Honky Tonk Ranch television series airing on Circle, and Danny Wimmer Presents’ festivals Bourbon & Beyond and Hometown Rising.

She’s orchestrated cause marketing partnerships with organizations such as Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville and New York Cares, a Points of Light Network affiliate. Clayburg joined Adkins Publicity as an intern in January of 2018 and transitioned to a full-time Publicity Manager upon graduation from Belmont University in May of 2018.
