Robyn Stecher

Robyn Stecher is an executive, writer, author, speaker, and Founder of Artemis Rising Enterprises – a New York City based coaching and consulting company. She is an ICF certified performance coach. Throughout her 38 years as a talent agent, she has represented Tony, Emmy, Golden Globe, Academy Award, Peabody Award nominees and winners, and thought leaders. She has led successful teams from build through re-organization. In 2010 she published, “There’s Something About Daniel” – a memoir based on an article published in “Family Circle” Magazine. The book documents the first 18 years of her son’s life which began with a diagnosis of an unidentified rare genetic anomaly. A sentence of limitation became a journey of liberation. Daniel has defied the odds, attends college, and lives independently in Cambridge, Mass. Her current book, “It’s Just Who We Are” explores the subjects of identity, faith, and love. As her neuro-complex son successfully launches into adulthood, she shares stories as he and she both grow into new chapters of their lives, together and apart. She is a seasoned life traveler, career woman in a highly competitive business, and thrived through a crumbling marriage, financial devastation, single parenthood, divorce, and her sister’s death. Stecher and her son prevail, proving that the only true disability is a broken spirit. Throughout the book she seeks to live into the question: “Who do you think you are?” Ms. Stecher has been a speaker for the Go Red for Women, Westchester Chapter, National Heart Association, she is an active member of the (ATA) Association of Talent Agents and a member of NYWIFT (New York Women in Film and Television.) She has spoken on the subjects of women in business and parenting atypical children. She served both Ceridian and Life Care as the “special needs” forum facilitator, leading two years of monthly webinars with Q and A for parents. Her workshop, “Power Up” utilizes the coaching philosophy she has developed, which focuses on performance in all the areas of life. Charitable endeavors have included: advisory board membership and 21 years volunteer service with The Dream Foundation, CA. fulfilling wishes for terminally ill adults. Benefit Chair and Co-chair and supporter of The Lowell School, NY, a school for children with learning challenges. She has been a supporter of The Threshold Program at Lesley University. She participates in the Pajama Program, a reading program for at risk children and regularly mentors aspiring, young professionals in business and the entertainment industry. A former world-class scuba diver, her interests include writing, traveling, cooking and photography. She lives with her husband, and their almost human rescue dog, Bailey.
